Since 2015 in Montreal, we've been putting traditionally prepared products into jars, without compromise. PHAFO is a Haitian family brand. Fresh vegetables prepared by a team of Haitian moms, condiments to open when it's time to cook, and a taste of Haiti to share.

Whether you're a member of the Haitian diaspora who misses the pikliz your grandmother served with bananes pesées, or you're eager to discover Haitian flavours, we created PHAFO to help you save time in the kitchen and bring more flavour to your plate.

Haitian condiments for your kitchen

From the first step of preparation to the finishing touch at the table, each product has its place. Here's what we offer to help you cook and accompany your dishes, depending on what you feel like eating and how much heat you enjoy.

• GRANGOU marinades, in doux, moyen and Granneg versions, are raw Haitian epis, made without vinegar. Their ingredients include shallot, onion, bell pepper, garlic and parsley.
• PIKLIZ, in Chimère, Original, Rosé and Mauvé varieties, brings crunch. Rosé combines red cabbage and piment végétarien, with zero heat.
• CHIKTAY puts fish in the spotlight. Pam is made with dried cod and Jòj with smoked herring.
• Our bottled sauces give you a choice. Abolition is a Haitian hot sauce with caramelized red onion and carrot. Anmwée is also a hot sauce. Mezanmii is a vinaigrette.

Using a GRANGOU marinade is simple: open the jar, spoon the marinade onto the meat, then mix by hand. Grangou seasoning, meanwhile, is a dry powdered blend.
